POSITION OVERVIEW

X-Ray Industries, an Applus+ company, is a well-established non-destructive testing service provider in the Aerospace industry. With over 80 years of experience, X-Ray Industries is the oldest, most-established NDT provider, offering a broad range of testing and inspection capabilities.

A successful candidate for the Xray Method Level 3 role is someone who enjoys working hands on, seeks to be a part of a team, and is passionate about NDT and Radiography !

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • To perform this job successfully, the dedicated individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience to ensure qualification as a minimum in / with Radiographic Testing.
  • Certifiable to Level 3 per the requirements of XRI 2002 (NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A), i.e., 4 years as a Level 2 is required to qualify for Level 3 certification unless the following conditions are met (per XRI-2002 โ€œA 2 year degree in engineering or science study at a technical school, college or university reduces the above to 2 years experience. A 3-4 year science or engineering undergraduate degree reduces the above to 1 year experience.
  • Knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s) as used by XRI Testing.
  • Have a general knowledge of NDT methods and product manufacturing and inspection technologies used by XRI testing and its customers. Specifically:
  • Radiography (X-ray) (RT)
  • Digital Radiography (DDA) (DR) (CR)
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual shall have sufficient education, training and experience to ensure qualification in their respective method.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED

  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program.
