Job Title:  Client Performance Manager - Atlanta Radio

Position Overview

Cox Media Group Atlanta Radio is searching for a Client Performance Manager who will be responsible for managing our most strategic accounts.

The Client Performance Manager serves as a subject matter expert for cross-channel marketing analysis for our most high-value advertising clients. They provide ROI storytelling through digital campaign analytics and advanced analytics technologies. The Client Performance Manager is responsible for the campaign management and the performance deliverables for the market's key clients.

The Client Performance Manager should have experience in delivering effective campaign reporting and analyses, interacting directly with clients to convey data-driven stories. They exhibit confidence and knowledge to foster trust with key stakeholders, recommending the best solution for optimal business results. They should be comfortable collaborating with internal teams to act upon insights and communicate optimization opportunities with our operations teams. They should excel at presenting client’s their campaign performance stories and driving strategic conversations for account growth.

This individual must also have superior campaign management skills, being responsible for tracking client media plans, goals, challenges, and ongoing shifts in the campaign strategy. The Client Performance Manager must be effective in collaborating with not only the client and our central digital sales teams, but also our internal product operation teams, closing the loop from media planning to campaign execution to reporting and insights. Clear and concise communications will be key for the individual to succeed.

Previous experience in digital campaign analytics and creating client-facing deliverables is critical. The Client Performance Manager must have in-depth knowledge of digital analytic platforms, being confident in accessing and pulling data in systems such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook, and more. A basic knowledge of ad tags/trafficking and conversion management (Google Tag Manager) will only help this individual excel in the role. An analytically curious mindset is key.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Gather, mine and analyze campaign data to build client-facing presentations and personally deliver the campaign insights and opportunities
  • Drives retention and growth on our top analytic accounts, while growing our base of strategic accounts overall
  • Provides oversight of client expectations, timelines, and customer management for strategic accounts, adding a more strategic touchpoint for advertisers on calls and presentations
  • Leverage comprehensive knowledge of all digital ad products and operation processes to effectively monitor and enhance campaigns to achieve advertiser goals and KPIs
  • Maintain internal documentation to ensure that campaigns are managed properly, with account details recorded for media plans, QA, optimizations, and other client details
  • Require detailed knowledge of both internal and outsourced digital platforms, understanding how technology stacks come together to serve our campaigns
  • Offer a holistic campaign perspective, effectively communicating performance to our stakeholders in ongoing reporting recaps
  • Provide leadership and facilitation for continuously improving the quality of service and campaign results for our local markets and clients
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience working in a digital advertising operations role, working with sales and marketers
  • Working knowledge in ad platforms and reporting in systems such as: Google Analytics, Google Ads, general Google Marketing Platforms, Facebook, CM360/DV360/SA360, etc.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications are required
  • Experience with data visualization in platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Domo, or other is a plus
  • Must have superior excel skills needed for interpreting data for insights and superior PPT skills for visualizing the outcomes and opportunities
  • Proven skills in digital campaign management including processing, trafficking and monitoring performance against established expectations
  • Must be a detail-oriented analyst with an understanding of digital channels who can provide not only the data analysis but thought leadership focused on delivering the best ROI for ongoing programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to craft a data driven story. Comfortable in presenting to key stakeholders. Translating technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Responsible for trafficking, monitoring, and reporting on digital owned & operated campaigns
  • Should enjoy & thrive working in a fun, fast-paced, and dynamic digital agency environment
  • Positive attitude and passion for solving client needs, desire to go above and beyond, a self-starter who can work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in campaign and performance management
