CASHIER (PART TIME)


NATURE OF WORK

This part time position works at the Mt. Lebanon Racket Center performing registration and customer service functions.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Greets and assists the public.
  • Answers phone calls and provides information.
  • Handles registrations through a point-of-sale system.
  • Manages admissions to facilities through appropriate admission policies and procedures.
  • Balances the daily transactions.
  • Manages the daily facilities schedule.
  • Responds to emergency situations.
  • Assists with special events as needed.
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance.


OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Performs all other work as assigned.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn athletic scheduling software.
  • Able to function under pressure.
  • Knowledge of common computer programs and office machines, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work various schedules including weekends and evenings.


REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma/G.E.D. or currently enrolled in High School.
