We are currently seeking production workers to join our team!

The End of Table is responsible for preparing, threading, and hanging meat products on racks or frames to support efficient processing, curing, smoking, or drying operations. This role ensures products are handled safely, consistently, and supports and complies with the company’s Food Safety and Quality Management System in accordance with SQF Code requirements.

  • Responsible for preparing threading sticks and hanging meat products on rack for processing in a consistent, organized manner to ensure proper airflow and uniform processing.
  • Assembles assigned machinery at the beginning of the shift and disassembles at the end of the shift.
  • Ensure that an adequate supply of clean carts and necessary materials is available prior to starting the hanging process.
  • Weighs filled racks using designated scales prior to transferring products into smoker area.
  • Inspect meat product for quality, defects, trimming, and visual defects prior to threading and hanging.
  • Transfer racks safety to designated areas such as smoking rooms, coolers, scales or production lines.
  • Accurately complete all required production counts, records, and any other documentation needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety protocols, HACCP, Preventive Control, Allergen Control, Food Defense, and Quality Assurances applicable to your responsibilities.
  • Ensure products are handled in a manner that prevents contamination, adulteration, or mislabeling.
  • Immediately report any concerns regarding food safety, food quality, regulatory compliance, or product integrity to supervision or management.
  • Stop production or hold affected product when a food safety or quality risk is identified.
  • Take immediate corrective action to prevent potentially unsafe or non-conforming products from entering commerce
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: 

  • Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments.
  • Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy racks or product (weight varies by facility).
  • Basic understanding of food safety practices (training provided).
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced production setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays
  • Work overtime when required

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for 8 hours.
  • Regular lift/push/move up to 1000 lbs.; regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and pallet stacking motions (Shoulder height).
  • Work in a cold/wet production environment (typically 34–45°F).
  • Wear required PPE (gloves, smock, hair/beard net, hearing protection, etc.).

Work Environment:

  • Refrigerated RAW/processing environment with strict hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Exposure to fast-paced packaging line with moving conveyors, slicers, and powered industrial trucks (with separation/controls).
  • Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
  • Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
  • Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold; and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and requires that hearing protection be worn in production areas at all times.
