What You’ll Do

You’ll work as part of a technician team installing and supporting data center cabling and network infrastructure, including:

Hands‑On Installation & Cabling
  • Install and decommission copper and fiber cabling infrastructure
  • Pull, route, dress, and label low‑voltage cable (Cat5, Cat6, fiber)
  • Perform field terminations and cable labeling
  • Assist with rack & stack of network and server equipment
  • Install ladder racking and seismic bracing (above and below raised floor)
  • Layout and dress MDF and IDF closets
Testing & Documentation (with Training as Needed)
  • Support copper and fiber testing and troubleshooting
  • Operate test equipment (DSX 5000 / OTDR) or learn under supervision
  • Upload and save results to LinkWare / LinkWare Live
  • Create and apply port‑map labels
  • Maintain clean, accurate documentation and paperwork
Field & Team Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety, quality, and data center best practices
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas
  • Communicate project updates to leads and managers
  • Work collaboratively with technicians, leads, and stakeholders
  • Read and interpret floor plans, blueprints, and design documents

Pay and Benefits
