The SBN Operations team is looking for an Infrastructure Ops Technician to join our expanding Central Infra Ops team. Infrastructure Ops Technicians work with established best practices to refine operational procedures and develop new tooling to support our networks.
If you would like supporting and deploying large scale, enterprise class networks, we'd like to meet you. Your work will deliver the configuration and overall health of our infrastructure services for Amazonians and to assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our infrastructure operations as we expand.
Key job responsibilities
The position's responsibilities involve installation, configuring, monitoring and resolving of issues with infrastructure hardware, configuration and network connectivity in Amazon corporate offices around the world


These activities include the following:
- Installation and troubleshooting of infrastructure hardware, software and connectivity
- Ability to travel within geographical work area is required.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment
- Communicate with technical and non-technical staff
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Display a commitment to quality and strong multi-tasking skills
- Work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to maintain infrastructure health
