Job description

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of Palletizer 1 is to palletize products from the production line in an efficient, accurate manner per product palletization guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be able to operate all manual lines (includes lines such as C1, C4, C6, Preinspection, ADC)
  • Verify codes, materials, and retort rack configurations
  • Operate the components of the production line, including troubleshooting and communicating any issues to proper supervision
  • Generate and maintain proper records for finished goods, defects, etc.
  • Identify and use proper stack patterns per specific product or customer specs
  • Pull and document samples for QA and USDA testing
  • Maintain a pace that matches production line requirements
  • Communicate issues to line operator and/or production supervisor
  • Contribute to company efforts by accomplishing other related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • General math and reading skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with other team members
  • Ability to follow all work instructions and safety procedures
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
