Job description

We are hiring Installers to support a large-scale data center construction project in South Bend, IN.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in the growing data center industry. No structured cabling experience is required. If you've worked with hand and power tools and have experience installing, assembling, or building anything in construction, electrical, low voltage, HVAC, carpentry, solar, security systems, or similar tradesโ€”we want to hear from you.

We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking, punctual, and eager to learn.

Pay

$22โ€“$26/hour (based on experience)

Schedule

  • Monday โ€“ Friday
  • 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:00โ€“5:00 PM (depending on workload)
  • 8โ€“10 hour shifts
  • Overtime available
  • Saturdays often required

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the installation of structured cabling systems inside a large data center
  • Pull, route, and secure copper and fiber optic cables
  • Install cable pathways, supports, and related hardware
  • Safely use hand and power tools
  • Read basic drawings and follow installation instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and job site requirements
  • Work closely with experienced installers and supervisors

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • OSHA 10 Certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Previous experience in construction, electrical, installation, low voltage, carpentry, HVAC, solar, security systems, warehouse assembly, or other hands-on work
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, climb ladders, and work throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong work ethic, excellent attendance, and willingness to learn

Bonus Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Structured cabling experience
  • Fiber optic or copper cable installation
  • Commercial construction experience
  • Electrical or low-voltage experience
  • Experience reading blueprints or construction drawings
