Registration Authority Location: San Antonio, TX โ€“ Onsite with hybrid options available Secret Clearance Required to be considered Summary of Position Provides support to the United States Air Force by delivering cybersecurity solutions to secure business operations across the Air Force network. As a PKI Registration Authority (RA), you will provide certificate issuance/management services for the Air Force. You will provide technical support for Cryptographic Modernization, Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in implementing PKI daily operations for Classified (SIPRNet) and Unclassified (NIPRNet) Networks assigned to and delegated to the Air Force. This includes PKI support for the Air Force network and Air Force-supported organizations, including the Combatant Commands (COCOMs). This position requires professional and communication skills to coordinate Air Force PKI efforts with both Air Force, DoD, and non-DoD partners.   Essential Job Requirements * Knowledge of the DoD and AF PKI certificate issuance process. * Knowledgeable of the standards, practices, and processes applicable to computer security, encryption, and IT in the DoD. * Awareness of technologies, policies, processes and procedures associated with cyber security, information assurance, public key infrastructure, and public key enabling. * NIPR/SIPR Network Connectivity experience. * SIPR Token issuance/management and problem resolution experience. * Must have a minimum Secret security clearance.   Required Education * Bachelor's Degree required (6 years of experience may be substituted)   Required Experience * Support certificate revocation and suspension on Unclassified and/or Classified networks. * Support registration and/or termination of LRAs. * Perform third-party key recovery. * Approve certificate issuance to network devices. * Produce and deliver a Certificate Issuance report. * Support retention of all associated documentation for a period of 10 years for DoD and 10 years 6 months for NSS documents. * Support duties as assigned through NSS/PKI RPS and DoD/PKI CPS. * Provide support to LRAs, TAs, and Purebred Agents in accordance with applicable PKI CPS and RPS to ensure RA Operations align with DISA Audit requirements. * Monitor the RA Operations in accordance with applicable PKI RA-LRA CPS and RPS to ensure RA Operations align with DISA Audit requirements.   Required Skills * Analytical skills - Must be able to evaluate policy and guidance, technology advancements in PKI, and operational requirements to formulate implementation strategies in the AF. * Communication and Interpersonal - Strong interpersonal skills in order to collaborate/coordinate AF PKI positions with AF customers and DoD PKI subject matter experts. * Customer service/support: Strong customer focus to serve internal and external PKI customers. * Attention to detail: Must have a keen eye for detail to ensure access to systems and applications is granted to authorized personnel only.   Physical Requirements * This is a standard office environment and requires lifting and moving of standard personal computers, files, and supplies.
