Responsibilities include assessing inspection findings, proactively identifying areas of concern, developing solutions, failure analysis, and supporting fixed equipment mechanical integrity. This position is onsite at Marathon Petroleum’s Anacortes Refinery.**Key Responsibilities:*** Provides technical support for updating and implementing Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) strategies.* Site program owner for: Integrity Operating windows (IOWs) and Corrosion Control Documents (CCDs).* Facilitates and participates in corrosion studies to identify potential damage mechanisms and assist in solving material degradation problems.* Perform failure analyses as needed to support the refinery, and support incident investigations as they pertain to metallurgy and corrosion.* Review and approve welding and post weld heat treatment procedures.
