SW Architect/Engineer – Aurora, CO
This job announcement will be posted on an ongoing basis.
ICR is seeking an experience Software Architect/Engineer to join our Kaldi Team. The Kaldi Program is an effort supporting the US Navy. ICR provides world class engineering support in the areas of Software Engineering, Hardware Virtualization, Data Analysis, Mission Engineering, and Field Mission Support. The Navy has relied on ICR for 4 years to support its mission, and has recently contracted for another 4 years.
Required
  • Must have at least 8 years of experience as a Software Architect/Engineer, or similar career field experience. Or, 2 years less with a college degree in computer science, electrical engineering, aero engineering, astro engineering, physics, or general engineering studies.
  • Must have active Top Secret security clearance with SSBI and SCI access
    • US Citizenship required.
  • Strong experience with software integration, test, documentation
  • Prior experience supporting RF ground systems engineering activities for satellite communications system.
  • Ability to apply previous knowledge and experience to provide recommendations for development of new operational concepts, architecture, and to increase efficiencies within the existing system
  • Previous experience working with systems supported by Linux operating systems.
  • Strong organizing skills
  • Experience scripting/coding with Python, C, Java
  • Experience with these technologies:
    • Ansible
    • Teraform
    • Proxmox
  • Experience with:
    • Virtualization of environments
    • Docker
Preferred
  • Technical ability to write reports which describe technical findings and recommendations. Plus, ability to write white papers which describe system capability enhancements and engineering benefits, which improve the customer’s mission.
  • Experience with Full Stack environment
  • Information Assurance and Accreditation experience
  • Current Security+ certification
  • Experience with:
    • Network engineering
    • HW installation and trouble shooting
    • Active Directory
    • Application Packaging (apt, yum, etc.)
  • Experience with Software :
    • Java script
    • BASH
  • Experience with these technologies:
    • GIT
    • CI / CD
    • React
Salary: $150,000 - $215,000
