Job Responsibilities
  • Administers manufacturing documents prior to release into production.
  • Reviews customer source documents for completeness and correctness.
  • Reviews customer source documents against quotation and business rules.
  • Responsible for data entry of product details into engineering system.
  • Communicates issues to customer through customer service department.
  • Tracks changes to project.

Estimating Job Tasks:
  • Generates proposals based on customer source documents.
  • Reviews customer source documents for scope.
  • Keys in product data into pricing system.
  • Determines qualifications and exclusions.
  • Obtains pricing for items outside of the price book.
  • Obtains freight pricing from freight system.
  • Provides voluntary alternates where applicable.
  • Communicates with customer through sales department.
  • Logs proposals into tracking system.
  • Manages customers orders

What You Need to Succeed:
  • College degree preferred
  • Typically requires 2-5 years of relevant hollow metal or hardware experience.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with a variety of personality types.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must possess superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must possess problem solving skills.
