Job description


An ideal candidate will have technical knowledge and experience with business and individual tax preparation, strong communication and analytical skills, enjoy working in a team setting, the ability to consistently meet deadlines, and takes ownership and accountability in assignments. Experience with QuickBooks and LaCerte a plus.
Position requirements:
  1. At least 2 yearsrelevant tax experience in public accounting
  2. Able to work inthe US without sponsorship
  3. Able to work in ouroffice for the first week for onboarding and training
  4. Able to work inour office at least 1 day per week thereafter

Primary responsibilities include:
  • Preparation ofcomplex individual income tax and business income tax returns
  • Propose solutionsto managers regarding client questions, outstanding tax issues, orinternal matters
  • Prepare andcomplete tax research projects
  • Prepare clientbookkeeping
  • Prepare federaland state payroll returns
  • Prepare state andlocal excise and personal property returns
  • Prepare IRS andstate taxing authority letter and notice responses
  • Review work ofstaff below senior level
  • Assist withyear-end and general tax planning services
  • Assist infostering client relationships
  • Other tasks asneeded
