Quickbooks Bookkeeper Job Description:

PrideStaff Financial is working with a growing business who is searching for a QuickBooks Bookkeeper. The QuickBooks Bookkeeper will maintain the daily financial operations, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing regular reconciliations. The ideal QuickBooks Bookkeeper has strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, a firm grasp of foundational accounting principles, and excellent organizational skills to keep the financial records accurate and up to date. The Quickbooks Bookkeeper position is a full time, temp to hire position in Roseville, CA.


Quickbooks Bookkeeper Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process Incoming Invoices, Handle Vendor Payments, Prepare Client Billing, & Track Outstanding Receivables to Ensure Timely Collections
  • Perform Regular Reconciliations of Bank Statements & Credit Card Accounts to Maintain Accurate Balances 
  • Record Daily Financial Transactions, Categorize Expenses, & Ensure Ledger Accuracy Within Quickbooks 
  • Assist With Processing Payroll & Preparing Routine Journal Entries 
  • Support The Month-End Closing Process & Assist in Generating Financial Statements & Management Reports 
  • Research, Track, & Resolve Any Accounting Discrepancies or Ledger Errors in a Timely Manner
  • Maintain Strict Confidentiality & Ensure The Security of All Company & Financial Data
  • Assist With Additional Needs as Requested 


Quickbooks Bookkeeper Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • 2+ Years of Professional Bookkeeping or General Accounting Experience 
  • Solid Understanding of Basic Accounting Principles 
  • Hands-on Experience With QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online or Equivalent Accounting Software 
  • Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor or Bookkeeping Certification (CPB/CB)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel & The Broader MS Office Suite 
  • Demonstrates a High Level of Accuracy in Data Entry & Financial Tracking 
  • Strong Problem-Solving Abilities, Excellent Written & Verbal Communication, & Effective Time Management
