Bob Allen Ford in Overland Park, KS is looking for a Quick Lane Service Advisor to serve as the primary point of contact for customers coming in for express service and routine maintenance. This role keeps a high-volume service lane moving: greeting customers, writing accurate estimates, coordinating with the shop, and making sure every guest leaves informed and satisfied. What You'll Do
  • Greet customers promptly and gather vehicle and customer information to open the visit
  • Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle symptoms clearly and accurately on the repair order
  • Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history
  • Prepare complete, accurate estimates for labor and parts
  • Establish follow-up times and keep customers informed of vehicle status throughout the visit
  • Confirm that final invoices match completed repair order work before delivery
  • Explain all services performed and associated charges to customers at pickup
  • Coordinate loaner vehicle setup and verify insurance when applicable

What We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of service department experience required; Quick Lane or express service background is a plus
  • Prior Ford dealership experience preferred
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant preferred
  • Strong automotive knowledge and the ability to assess issues quickly
  • Proven track record of customer satisfaction
  • Solid computer skills and willingness to learn new software and repair procedures
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
