THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support their growing sales organization. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers and play a critical role in expanding sales capacity by qualifying leads and booking discovery conversations for Account Executives. Youโ€™ll help organizations, primarily within the public sector, reimagine how they connect with and engage their communities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for inbound and outbound prospects interested in improving community engagement and public participation.

  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts primarily via phone, with additional outreach through email and social media.

  • Respond promptly to inbound demo and information requests.

  • Educate prospective customers on how our clientโ€™s platform enables meaningful public feedback and engagement.

  • Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives.

  • Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of prospect interactions in the CRM system.

  • Track outreach activity and performance against key monthly metrics.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales development, business development, or a customer-facing role, preferably in SaaS or technology.
