Technical/Functional Skills
SAP BW Developer will play a key role in working on major projects that may span a broad range of systems, providing subject matter expertise and technical direction; working closely with business users, BAs, PMs and IT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, design and development of quality technical solutions that are aligned with the business and IT strategies, and are in compliance with the organization's architectural standards; and application analysis, design, development, integration, and enhancement, and also involved in complex support issues.

ย ย  ย Provide technical solutions to fulfill business requests using SAP's BW (Business Warehouse) development language
ย ย  ย Design, develop, configure, migrate, test and implement SAP BW 7.x data warehousing solutions
ย ย  ย Design and build data flows including InfoObjects, InfoCubes, Aggregates, Datastore objects(DSO), MultiProviders, InfoSets, Transformations, DTPs andย  DataSources
ย ย  ย Develop Process chains to load and monitor data loading
ย ย  ย Implement performance tuning techniques in SAP BW 7.x
ย ย  ย Build, test, and publish of BEx reports, BEx Workbooks and BEx Web applications using SAP BEx 7.x suite
ย ย  ย Develop variables, restrict key figures, calculate key figures, structures and selections in SAP BEx Query Designer
ย ย  ย Implement BEx Broadcaster functions for report distribution
ย ย  ย Develop, enhance, test and implement SAP ABAP applications
ย ย  ย Develop function module extractors in ABAP
ย ย  ย Enhance Logistics, Finance and custom extractors
ย ย  ย Develop and maintain ABAP User exits
ย ย  ย Provide ongoing support of the existing BO Reporting, Data Services and BW systems
ย ย  ย Translate functional specifications into technical specifications and ensure a comprehensive data warehouse design
ย ย  ย 2+ years of hands-on development experience with BW 7.3+ on HANA is a must
ย ย  ย 10+ years of experience in SAP BI/BW application development and implementation, specifically with the following: SAP ECC 6.0 integration, SAP BW 7.x, BEx 7.x, ABAP Programming, Business Objects 4.x
ย ย  ย 10+ years of experience with SAP BW architecture, data modeling, design and development
ย ย  ย Experience with BW administrator Workbench; BW Info Objects, ODS, Info Cubes, Info Packages, Info Sources, Design complex, customs BW solutions translating complex requirements in an optimal BW design
ย ย  ย Planning and organizational skills, including ability to engage with multiple development projects concurrently and working to tight deadlines.
ย ย  ย Proven expertise in HANA architecture/design and data modeling
ย ย  ย Experience in the development, implementation, and management of a Business Intelligence Architecture strategy and roadmap
ย ย  ย Deep and broad exposure and understanding of SAP Business Warehouse concepts
ย ย  ย Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision software such as Web Intelligence, Universes, Crystal Reports, and BOBJ server.
ย ย  ย Advanced skill in the development of Business Objects Web Intelligence reports and Dashboards.
ย ย  ย Good understanding of data modeling and complex database schema.
ย ย  ย Thorough understanding of the principles of computer systems validation, SDLC methodologies and testing best practice.
