As a Lead Experience Researcher for Deloitte DT-US Product Engineering team, you will work with a creative group in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strategically design, plan, and execute user research studies and analyze behavioral metrics to paint a complete picture of our users to drive design decisions and user experience priorities. A strong specialization in mobile experience research is essential for this role and a proven track record of user research strategy and execution using a deep toolbox of methodologies to explore behavior, workflow and motivations of our users. As a Manager, Mobile Experience Researcher on the Product Engineering team, you will be responsible for:

  • Defining and executing mobile research strategies across the product development lifecycle, from early concept exploration through post-launch evaluation
  • Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research using methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, ethnographic research, and behavioral analysis to generate actionable insights
  • Partnering with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align research priorities with product strategy, user needs, and business goals
  • Synthesizing findings into artifacts such as research readouts, personas, dashboards, and design recommendations that inform decision-making and improve user experiences

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Behavioral Science, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience conducting user research using qualitative and quantitative methods across the product development lifecycle
  • Experience conducting mobile experience research and applying research methods to mobile application workflows, behaviors, and usability
  • Experience translating research findings into deliverables such as personas, journey maps, usability findings, dashboards, or product recommendations
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams that include product management, design, and engineering
