About the Opportunity:

As an Associate Director Scientist within Evinova Quantitative Science, you'll play a key role in shaping how patient outcomes are measured and understood. As a subject matter expert in Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) and quantitative evidence generation, you'll work at the intersection of science, data, and digital innovation.

You'll lead advanced analytics across existing and novel endpoints, helping define patient benefit and directly influencing the development of innovative therapies and digital health solutions.

Working across study teams and therapeutic areas, you'll design analytic approaches to solve complex evidence gaps, leveraging data from COAs, biosensors, and wearables to uncover meaningful, patient-centric insights across the drug development lifecycle.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive high-impact work, while also helping to integrate AI-enabled analytics into workflows and contribute to the development of next-generation, AI-powered decision-support tools within Evinova's digital product ecosystem.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and implement strategies for quantitative evidence generation at the study team and therapeutic area level

  • Develop analytic approaches to address evidence gaps

  • Contribute to programming workstreams across psychometrics, clinimetrics, and statistics to generate evidence of patient experience throughout the drug development lifecycle

  • Lead workstreams to deliver project-based evidence

  • Conduct and interpret psychometric, clinimetric, and statistical analyses for the validation of novel endpoints using COA and sensor/wearable data

  • Prepare, review, and contribute to scientific outputs including reports, presentations, publications, and regulatory materials

  • Integrate AI-enabled analytics into quantitative workflows to improve efficiency and scalability

  • Contribute to the design and refinement of AI-powered decision-support tools within Evinova's digital health products

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, ScD, DrPH) in a relevant field such as Statistics, Biostatistics, Psychology, Epidemiology, Neuroscience, or similar, plus relevant experience

  • OR Master's degree in a related field with significant practical experience

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Programming and Visualization: Skilled in R, SAS, Python, or similar tools for robust data analysis and visualization.

  • Clinical Evidence Expertise: Capable of interpreting clinical research data and clearly communicating findings to diverse audiences.

  • Drug Development Insight: Possesses a solid understanding of the drug development process and its stages.
