Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst at CAVA plays a key role in delivering strategic financial insights that drive decision-making across the organization. This role supports company-wide planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, helping to translate data into action. As part of the FP&A team, the Senior Analyst partners cross-functionally to ensure financial plans are aligned with operational execution and supports leadership with clear, timely analysis and recommendations. This is a high-visibility position for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What You'll Do:

Serve as the primary finance business partner for G&A functional leaders, providing financial guidance and decision support across departments including Real Estate, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Lead the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly close processes for G&A expense categories, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives.

Support financial analysis for new restaurant development, including site-level pro forma modeling, ROI analysis, and investment recommendations.

Provide timely, actionable analysis and insights on key financial and operational metrics.

Develop and deliver analysis, reports, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Perform variance analyses to understand drivers of performance against budget, forecast, and prior year.

Assist in preparation of materials for internal leadership reviews and external reporting needs.

Contribute to monthly and quarterly business reviews by identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.

Support strategic initiatives and investment decisions through robust financial modeling and business case analysis.

Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems, and tools for scale and efficiency.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data through coordination with accounting and other stakeholders.

Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses that support the broader goals of the FP&A team and the Finance organization.

Champion CAVA's mission and values by modeling collaboration, ownership, and curiosity.

The Qualifications:

Education & Experience

3-5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, or related fields.

Strong financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.

Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Excel and financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar); experience with BI tools a plus.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data for diverse audiences.

Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or CPA a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment

Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details

For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds

Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
