Location: Columbia/Baltimore, MD Hybrid (onsite approximately 34 times per month)
Job Type: Contract-To-Hire

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Finance team supporting the Client Program. This role will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for detailed financial analysis, monthly budget monitoring, variance investigation, expense analysis, and supporting multiple financial projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze multiple budgets on a monthly basis.
  • Perform budget vs. actuals analysis and investigate variances.
  • Review project expenses, allocations, and financial performance.
  • Analyze employee and project timesheet allocations.
  • Review vendor contracts and pricing structures.
  • Identify financial issues and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing financial projects and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 35 years of financial analysis experience.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with budgets, expenses, budget vs. actuals, variances, timesheets, and project allocations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform deep-dive financial analysis.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and recommending solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze project expenses and determine reasons for over/under-budget performance.
