Job description

Social Finance, LLC seeks Senior Backend Developer, Banking Core in San Francisco, CA: 

Job Duties: Lead the development and testing of our banking core systems and services. Participate in shaping the technical architecture of the product and core banking migration. Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions. Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment. Support the technical culture, and help grow the team. Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies. Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers. Full time telecommuting is an option.

Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or related quantitative field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Profile scripting language (PSL); (2) Hierarchical databases-GT.M/MUMPS; (3) Core banking system development (FIS Profile); (4) Linux/UNIX Application environment; (5) Data migration and system upgrades; (6) Banking & Financial services Domain Knowledge; (7) US Banking Domain Knowledge; (8) Requirements Analysis and Functional Documentation; (9) System Integration using Service-Oriented Architecture; and (10) Project Ownership & delivery. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Full time telecommuting is an option.

Salary: $187,574.00 - $206,331.00 per year & standard company benefits.
