About DHR Mechanical Services
Founded in 1997, DHR Mechanical Services is a leading provider of commercial refrigeration and HVAC installation services across the Southeast. We serve major supermarket, cold storage, warehouse, and retail clients throughout:
Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, and North Carolina
We specialize in:
  • Supermarket refrigeration installations and remodels
  • Rack refrigeration systems
  • Display cases and walk-in coolers/freezers
  • EMS / controls integration
  • Cold storage and warehouse refrigeration systems
Key Responsibilities
Lead Commercial Refrigeration Installations
  • Supervise installation of supermarket/commercial refrigeration systems including rack systems, display cases, walk-ins, piping, EMS, and electrical components
  • Perform hands-on installation work as needed alongside field crews
Manage and Lead Field Crews
  • Direct daily activities of installers and subcontractors
  • Delegate work assignments and monitor productivity
  • Mentor, train, and develop junior installers
Coordinate Jobsite Operations
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for project managers, general contractors, and other trades
  • Coordinate scheduling and sequencing of work to maintain project timelines
Ensure Quality, Safety, and Compliance
  • Enforce OSHA, company safety standards, and jobsite cleanliness
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes
Track Project Progress
  • Maintain labor, material, and equipment records
  • Monitor project progress to support schedule and budget adherence
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of commercial refrigeration installation experience
  • 2+ years in a Foreman, Lead Installer, Superintendent, or Crew Lead role
  • Strong experience installing:
    • Supermarket rack refrigeration systems
    • Refrigerated display cases
    • Walk-in coolers/freezers
    • Refrigeration piping and brazing
    • EMS / refrigeration controls
  • Ability to read and interpret:
    • Blueprints
    • Refrigeration schematics
    • Electrical diagrams
    • Mechanical drawings
  • Proven track record leading installation crews and delivering projects on schedule
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability and willingness to travel weekly throughout the Southeast
Preferred Qualifications
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Experience with supermarket remodels and retrofits
  • Experience coordinating multi-trade construction projects
