Propane Service Tech 

Palmdale Oil Company provides bulk lubricant and fuel throughout Florida with over 20 statewide locations. We are the only Florida-based company that can cater to the specific commercial fuel needs of the industrial, mining, construction, ranching, golf services, automotive, landscaping, marinas, marine vessels, fleet, agricultural and government sectors with reliable service. Palmdale Oil procures its fuel supply from various terminals on both coasts of the state of Florida. 

Palmdale Oil is recruiting a Daytime Propane Service Technician at our Stuart location to perform repairs and maintenance on propane tanks, lines, and equipment for both residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities include responding to gas leak emergencies, conducting pressure checks and leak tests, setting and connecting propane tanks, and converting gas appliances. This role requires participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and the accurate completion of all related documentation.
 

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs on existing propane tanks, lines and equipment for commercial and residential customers
  • Respond to active gas leak calls, evaluate and safety repair to propane system
  • Conduct leaking tests, pressure checks and system performance evaluations 
  • On-call rotation for afterhours emergency calls
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and effectively 
  • Deliver and set propane tanks with the use of a 2-wheel hand dolly
  • Connect and convert gas appliance

Required Qualifications: 

  • Positive, professional, and self-motivating demeanor 
  • Excellent customer service, strong work ethic and attention to detail are a must 
  • Provide timely and quality repairs as directed 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must have computer skills
  • Stable Work History
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Knowledge of LP appliances
