Business Process Analyst

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced or SeniorBusiness Process Analystto join theFactory Digital Mobileteam inEverett, Washingtonor Renton, Washingtonbut will be required to extend support in the alternative location based on business needs, potentially for extended durations.

This is an opportunity to become part of a team responsible for transforming our airplane production system processes and experience leveraging digital solutions and technologies to improve safety, quality, flow, and compliance. Assigned projects will be focused on MES system enhancements for both desktop and mobile use cases, from requirements gathering and definition, to scaled factory deployment.

The ideal candidate will be able to align with Boeing's Values and Behaviors, work with cross-functional teams, be willing to learn new technologies, and possess expertise in manufacturing and quality processes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders in Operations, Engineering, IT and Quality to gather and document business requirements for critical software systems

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with factory end users of mobile solutions

  • Ability to navigate ambiguous and complex enhancement requirements through stakeholder engagement and coordination

  • Develop and maintain expertise in CMES/Velocity/Pulse system integrations, limitations and control policies

  • Develop test scripts, release notes, and other content in support of MES release activities - owning your enhancements from inception to deployment

  • Participate in User Validation Testing and End User Checkouts during MES Releases

  • Participate in the training and deployment of mobile solutions in the factory

  • Develop training content for new software capabilities

  • Gather feedback from end users within the Boeing Production System to define, operationalize, prioritize and improve solutions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work in Everett, WA and Renton, WA.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ of experience in a Manufacturing Operations, Engineering Support or IT environment

  • 3+ years of experience investigating and supporting solutions for a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity, innovation and coordination among multiple stakeholders

  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word in a work or academic setting

  • 2+ years of experience communicating and/or coaching operators, peers, and leadership on new tools or processes

  • Willing to work alternating shifts, holidays, and weekends to support customer's needs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 4: 7+ Experience in a Manufacturing Operations, Engineering Support or IT environment

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • 2+ years in a technical or factory support role requiring root cause analysis and resolution

  • 1+ years of experience leveraging advanced formatting features in Microsoft Word

  • 1+ years of experience using multiple Boeing MES systems

  • 1+ years writing software business requirements

  • Familiarity with Android OS and advanced features

  • Strong organization skills

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and/or HCL Leap

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles

  • Academic or professional experience performing technical writing
