Summary:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for the overall food safety and quality of baked goods produced in the plant.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting individual packages on each line to ensure proper seals, clear & correct code dates and inspect the general appearance of each package.
  • Record average package weights and bake loss at the end of the shifts.
  • Record quality assurance reports for each line within each 1 hour time period.
  • Put product on hold for further review by QC Manager.
  • Measuring & recording the dimension, height, moisture and pH of baked cookies.

Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years experience in Food Science or related field is preferred
  • Must be proficient in computers, specifically MS Office and/or Google Drive
