Summary:
The quality control technician is responsible for the inspection and testing of manufacturing processes and products to ensure product quality. The quality control technician will work with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes, and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented to maintain product quality and records traceability.
Job description:
  • Monitor line components (part numbers, characteristics, and documentation)
  • Make quality judgments (pass/fail) using available standards
  • Perform and document required testing and inspections
  • Navigate SAP requirements/instructions
  • Verify order-related paperwork with physical samples and label identification
  • Assist Production and Quality Supervision in trouble-shooting line issues

Qualifications:
  • Looking for candidates that have manufacturing and production experience, ideally personal care or chemical Quality experience like a QC Inspector, QA Tech
  • High school diploma preferred
  • 2-3 years of inspection experience
  • Ability to use basic measuring instruments
  • Ability to understand product/documentation traceability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of quality protocols and procedures in a GMP environment
  • Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Computer literate
