Position Summary:ย ย 
Theย QC Tech continuouslyย monitorsย products and materials for complianceย toย ACPA, NPCA, and multiple DOTs standards.ย 

Essential Job Functions/Duties:ย 

  • Successfully plan and execute product and material testing at proper intervals
  • Ensure all products meet or exceed ASTM and DOT specs
  • Perform daily tests to ensure quality in product (cylinder breaks, pre-pour / post-pour, wire check, etc.)
  • Solve basic technical and production problems
  • Identifyย and resolve quality control issues
  • Conduct and document Pre and Post Pour Inspections of product
  • Test and document fresh and hardened concreteย in accordance withย industry standard
  • Communicate and work with plant personnel to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain and document calibration and maintenance of QC testing equipment
  • Inspect and stamp product according to DOT standards prior to shipment
  • Maintain all plant and personal certifications thru ACPA, NPCA, and multiple DOTโ€™s
  • Interact with government and industry inspectors as needed

Required Qualifications:ย 

  • Must have and maintain ACI Field Tech and ACI Strength Tech certifications
  • Mustย acquireย andย maintainย multiple state DOT certifications
  • Forklift certified
  • Crane Certifiedย ย

  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to keep andย maintainย all required documentation
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
