EVS is seeking a highly organized Document Control Specialist to support engineering and infrastructure projects across renewable energy and power delivery markets. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, accuracy, and process management while supporting fast paced project teams.

You will play a critical role in managing technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring teams and clients always have access to the most current, accurate, and approved information.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage the full lifecycle of engineering documents including creation, review, revision, distribution, and archival.
  • Maintain organized electronic and hard copy filing systems using proper naming conventions and indexing standards.
  • Support the intake, processing, routing, and tracking of project documentation across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, RFIs, reports, and submittals are properly maintained and accessible.
  • Maintain strict version control processes to ensure only current and approved documents are distributed.
  • Archive superseded documents while maintaining a clear and traceable audit history.
  • Review incoming documents for formatting, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
  • Process incoming and outgoing transmittals with accurate logging and tracking.
  • Coordinate timely document distribution to internal teams, clients, vendors, and project partners.
  • Route documentation through established workflows for interdisciplinary reviews and approvals.
  • Maintain document logs, registers, and tracking reports to support project visibility and accountability.
  • Provide status updates to project managers and stakeholders regarding document flow and approvals.
  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Utilize document management systems such as SharePoint, Procore, Aconex, or similar platforms to maintain efficient workflows.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 2+ years of experience in document control within engineering, construction, infrastructure, or related industries.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Experience using Adobe Acrobat and document management systems such as SharePoint, Procore, Aconex, or similar platforms.
