Join Our Team as a Weekend Quality Control Specialist!

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? We're looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Youngsville, NC. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our countertops and finished products meet the highest standards before reaching our customers.

This is a weekend shift position working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5:00am – 5:00pm.

More About the Job

The Weekend Quality Control Specialist is responsible for inspecting finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role works closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues while ensuring all materials are properly staged and prepared for upcoming installations.


Essential Duties amp; ResponsibilitiesQuality Control
  • Verify all finished countertops are measured and checked against shop drawings for accuracy
  • Inspect countertops, backsplashes, sinks, and related materials for quality and adherence to specifications
  • Ensure finished products are cleaned, prepared, and ready for installation
  • Document and communicate any defects, inconsistencies, or discrepancies to the appropriate teams
  • Sign off on completed pieces once they pass inspection requirements
  • Work closely with fabrication and production teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Ensure all pieces associated with each job are accounted for before staging
Staging
  • Conduct final quality inspections prior to staging
  • Ensure all materials for upcoming installations are staged and organized
  • Verify all job components are present and accounted for
  • Properly load and secure materials on A-Frames for transportation
Safety
  • Follow and promote all company safety policies and procedures
  • Respond promptly to safety concerns or incidents
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Safely operate forklifts and perform routine equipment inspections

What We're Looking For
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing, quality control, fabrication, or related experience preferred
  • Training provided for qualified candidates
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to use computers and Microsoft Office programs effectively
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive, problem-solving attitude
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical amp; Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate production equipment and forklifts
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and respirators when required
  • Exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures, humidity, and manufacturing environments
