Pay : $25/hr
Schedule : 3 rd shift Sun-Thu 10pm-6:30am
Type of Job : Contract to Permanent
Location : Cincinnati, OH
At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Quality Control Chemist Daily Tasks: What you will do:
  • Follow all GMP and safety procedures per plant standards and SDS guidelines.
  • Perform testing on bulk, finished products, and packaging materials; record results in SAP.
  • Report and document any out-of-specification (OOS) results and communicate as needed.
  • Approve and release bulk products in SAP in a timely manner.
  • Review and ensure accuracy and compliance of production documentation.
  • Support process improvement and quality initiatives through testing and collaboration.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, housekeeping standards, and product retains.

Quality Control Chemist Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related science.
  • 0-2 years of lab or quality experience; FDA-regulated industry experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of wet chemistry techniques and analytical instruments (e.g., GC)
