Job Title: Quality Engineer

Job Description

Under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Engineer plays a pivotal role in the Quality team, contributing to tasks related to the ISO 9001 certified aspects of the organization. The role requires frequent and direct interaction with various stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, as well as communication across all levels of the organization, from the shop floor to executive level. The Quality Engineer is instrumental in supporting the team to achieve quality outcomes through effective planning, monitoring, measurement, analysis, and improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in frequent and direct interaction with customers and suppliers.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, from shop floor to executive level.
  • Support the Quality team in producing quality results using planning, monitoring, measurement, analysis, and improvement methodologies.
  • Participate in and support the implementation of ISO 9001 certified processes.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance.
  • Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
  • Strong technical writing capabilities.
  • Knowledge of quality audits and quality control practices.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in an engineering-related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing engineering.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
