Summary

As a Quality Control Technician Trainee, you will play a critical role in ensuring incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products consistently meet quality standards. Working closely with production teams, you will perform inspections, maintain accurate documentation, and support quality processes that protect product integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, purchased goods, and products throughout production using established procedures and control plans.
  • Maintain and support inspection procedures, quality standards, and testing schedules.
  • Support and guide production team members on inspection methods and documentation standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Review, complete, and archive product documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify non-conforming products and assist with rework, containment activities, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, data collection activities, and Lean/SMS programs.
  • Report quality concerns, participate in root cause investigations, and support Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR) processes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Minimum six months of manufacturing, quality control, or related industrial experience preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Experience using measuring instruments and calibration equipment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately perform inspections, testing, documentation, and data entry.
  • Ability to follow established procedures, identify quality concerns, and support problem-solving and corrective action activities.
