JOB TITLE: Quality Control Inspection - DEFENSE
LOCATION: New Orleans, LA
PAY RATE: $37.46/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Inspect in-process and completed products using predetermined methods, operations, setups, and prescribed specifications

  • Perform visual inspections of electronic units, subsystems, electromechanical assemblies, mechanical units, and subassemblies

  • Identify structural flaws, internal defects, missing welds, and other quality concerns

  • Use measuring devices and inspection tools including scales, micrometers, and torque tools

  • Accept, reject, or recommend rework for defective or malfunctioning units and systems

  • Work from blueprints, diagrams, customer specifications, inspection instructions, and checklists

  • Support statistical process control and other quality control procedures as required

  • Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Inspection experience using scales, micrometers, torque tools, and related inspection equipment

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions

  • Experience with SAP and/or VECAMS preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
