Job description

Rayne, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) Inspector to ensure fabricated components and industrial equipment meet established quality standards.

Pay: based on experience

Hours: 6am-6pm M-F

Essential Duties

  • Perform in-process and final inspections on fabricated parts and assemblies.
  • Verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify and report non-conformances and assist with corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry quality standards.
  • Work closely with production and fabrication teams to resolve quality issues.

Requirements/Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of QC inspection experience in manufacturing or fabrication.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of basic quality standards and inspection processes.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in metal fabrication or industrial environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with welding inspections, visual inspection, and weld symbols preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards or quality systems preferred.
  • CWI certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the work area for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials or inspection equipment as needed.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
  • Ability to safely use measuring tools and inspection equipment.
  • Must be able to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
