Job description

NOV is seeking a Shop Service Technician to join our team in Broussard, Louisiana. This position is responsible for supporting the service, repair, inspection, and maintenance of ReedHycalog Anderreamers while contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality shop operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist in the service, repair, and inspection of Anderreamers.
- Support the service of NOV ReedHycalog Anderreamers in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
- Safely operate shop equipment, including Torquemaster, cranes, and forklifts, in compliance with HSE requirements.
- Complete required documentation and data entry throughout the service process.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment as required.
- Maintain 5S standards and housekeeping in the work area.
- Communicate with management regarding equipment issues, tool condition, product concerns, inspection findings, and HSEQ matters.
- Develop a strong understanding of the repair process to support production and quality objectives.
- Follow all specifications, procedures, customer requirements, and QC inspection standards.
- Participate in training and facility HSE programs.
- Work standard shifts and overtime as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by lead personnel and management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an oilfield shop environment with QC inspection experience required.

BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES

- Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
