Job Description: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Waco, TX
Pay Rate: Starting at $16.00 per hour (with potential increase upon permanent hire)
Shift: 2nd Shift - 4 PM to 1 AM

Work Environment: Must be able to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)

Position Overview: Crouch Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join a Waco area manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a quality-related role and must be proficient in reading a tape measure. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Utilize measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify product dimensions and specifications.
  • Document inspection results and communicate findings to production and quality teams.
  • Identify and report any defects or non-conformances, and assist in determining corrective actions.
  • Work collaboratively with production staff to ensure quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a quality-related role.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting tape measures and other measuring tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to work an 8-hour shift with overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating measuring tools and equipment.
