QC/QC Manager Location: Brandywine, MD Shift: Monday - Friday, 6-7 AM - 2 -3 PM (flexible) Type: Direct Hire Job description: The QA/QC Manger will be responsible for managing all quality activities at the project site. In addition, this role ensures the quality of the work meets the project"s contractual requirements. Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain and communicate QA/QC standards for the division and then any project level requirements that are more stringent. - Review project specifications for code compliance and constructability within industry standards. Work to help standardize specifications on SI"s design build projects. - Conduct and manage field observations of all MEP systems to determine compliance with approved plans, specifications, and other contract documents. - Prepare regular periodic quality control reports for management team. - Recognize and actively engages in the development of solutions to correct deficiencies in the project; identifies and directs corrective action as necessary. - Maintain records, prepare reports, and correspondence, relative to QA / QC work. - Monitor status of work and ensures work is being installed per the latest contract documents. - Partner with coordination to ensure accurate install/fab and as-built drawings. - Organize and run QC/QA preparatory and planning meetings prior to work taking place in field.
