Job description

Inspector As an Inspector, you will oversee all incoming component inspections, conduct in-line and in-process checks, issue labels, and manage any special projects that require inspection. You will also handle AQL inspections in response to customer complaints and participate in rework activities. The role involves managing over 1200 samples for a production lot, performing quality checks of medical products throughout the manufacturing and packaging process, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Responsibilities Perform quality checks on medical products throughout the manufacturing and packaging process. Inspect products for defects on bottles, totes, caps, and other packaging materials. Pull labels on batch records for production personnel to use on external packaging. Document all quality checks, inspections, and batch record information. Ensure production personnel adhere to GMPs, SOPs, FDA regulations, and quality processes. Essential Skills Quality control experience. High School Diploma. Computer literacy in document writing (NCRs, NCMRs, Batch Record). Strong verbal communication skills. Quality inspection and auditing expertise. FDA inspections knowledge. Additional Skills & Qualifications Understanding of federal regulations is a plus. Experience with GMP (training available). Legible writing skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with production. Experience in quality auditing, line auditing, batch record review, labeling, NCRs, deviations, GMP, and FDA regulations. The shift options are QC #1: 3:00PM to 11:30PM (Monday Friday), QC #2: 6:00PM close (Monday Friday), QC #3: 1:30PM 10:00PM (Monday Friday), QC #4: 6:00AM 4:30PM (Friday Monday), and QC #5: 6:00PM 4:30AM (Friday Monday). The company manufactures OTC drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices, primarily producing lubricating jellies, shampoos, and saline syringes.
