Position Summary:
The Document Control/SharePoint Administrator is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and improving Drake's document control systems and processes. This position will help ensure company documents are accurate, controlled, accessible, and compliant with applicable quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. Working directly with Information Technology, Quality, and other departments, this role will also support the development and administration of SharePoint as a centralized document management platform.
What Success Looks Like:
During your first year, you will:
  • Own document control - Manage documents from creation and approval through publication, revision, and retention.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance - Maintain current, traceable, audit-ready documentation aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage SharePoint governance - Establish and maintain site structure, permissions, document libraries, and storage standards.
  • Support and train teams - Partner across departments and guide employees on document control and proper SharePoint use.
  • Drive continuous improvement - Identify opportunities to improve document accuracy, organization, accessibility, and overall processes.

What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Experience with document control, records management, quality systems, or a related function.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of document approval, revision, version control, and traceability.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of electronic documentation accurately.
  • Ability to learn and apply quality, regulatory, and company requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train and support employees across multiple departments.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, medical, defense, or another regulated environment is preferred.

Work Environment / Schedule: (as applicable):
Office-based role in a first-class, professional environment. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility as required for peak periods.
