What You'll Do

You'll lead a team of Sales Solutions Specialists, driving performance, quote-to-order conversion, and operational excellence. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and sales execution to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience while achieving revenue goals.

As Manager, Sales Solutions, you'll oversee the full quote lifecycle from intake to conversion while aligning closely with Business Development and Sales teams. You'll coach your team, remove obstacles, and ensure all service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Solutions Specialists
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and expectations; monitor and drive performance
  • Conduct regular call monitoring, observations, and feedback sessions
  • Manage daily workload distribution and ensure proper phone coverage

Sales Execution & Conversion

  • Drive quote-to-order conversion through coaching and process discipline
  • Ensure alignment with sales goals and revenue targets
  • Monitor pipeline activity and proactively address gaps

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to all processes, systems, and quoting standards
  • Oversee timely and accurate quote and order processing
  • Maintain SLA compliance across all customer touchpoints (phone, email, voicemail)

Customer Experience & Escalations

  • Own and resolve escalations with urgency and accountability
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality customer interactions across the team

Pipeline & Reporting

  • Monitor open quotes (e.g., IQ61 reporting) to ensure timely follow-up and conversion
  • Ensure CRM/system notes are current and actionable
  • Track and improve key metrics: SLA, quote volume, and conversion rates

Technical & Product Expertise

  • Maintain strong knowledge of CRL products, systems, and configurators
  • Review bid documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure accurate, competitive quotes
  • Support team in delivering technically sound solutions to customers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, and other Team Leaders to meet shared goals
  • Align resources and priorities to maintain SLA performance
What You Bring
  • 5-10 years of experience in inside sales, estimating, or technical sales
  • 2+ years of leadership, team management, or mentoring experience
  • Proven ability to manage KPIs and drive performance improvements
  • Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and bid documents
  • Experience with quoting tools, CRM systems, or configurators preferred
