Job description

Job Title: Quality Assurance Auditor Location: North Kingstown, RI Type: Contract Compensation: Contractor Work Model: Hours: 40.0 hours per week Security Clearance:

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal audits of mail kit products to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
  • Read and interpret job sheets, control plans, and ISO/CQM requirements.
  • Understand calibration, verification, AQL, and military standards.
  • Apply non-conformance processes and generate reports for management.
  • Provide feedback on errors and support production in inspection and segregation of non-conforming products.
  • Validate new products and maintain accurate audit input in the JAAMS system.
  • Use job tracking systems effectively and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with team members to meet quality goals.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed for major projects.
  • Ensure conformance to the company's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working in manufacturing or production environments is preferred.
  • Basic analytical, numerical, and reasoning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is highly desirable.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Basic math skills and intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs. with good vision for detailed work.
