Job description

Kamatics is seeking a Quality Admin to join our Quality Assurance team. This role focuses on administrative support for quality processes, documentation, and audits. While technical experience is not required, the ideal candidate is enthusiastic about learning our quality and machining processes and contributing to a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Quality Team with internal and external audits, including regulatory audits, and support end-of-year audit overviews.

  • Support root cause investigations of internal or external non-conformances using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, DOE, or similar.

  • Work effectively in a team environment while also performing independently when needed.

  • Communicate clearly across all levels, designing and explaining concepts and requirements, and instructing colleagues when necessary.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety and environmental procedures; report safety incidents to supervisors.

  • Support MRB & MRB walk activities, communicating results to the Quality Team and relevant value streams.

  • Serve as the key focal for internal change board and management of change processes.

  • Identify, document, and recommend improvements to work processes and procedures. Lead initiatives such as 6S, Shelf Life Material, and FOD Programs/Audits.

  • Deliver high-level service to internal and external customers, contributing to a positive team environment.

  • Participate in training and cross-training within the QA function, performing other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma required

Experience:

  • 2โ€“5 years in a Manufacturing or Quality function

  • Experience in a Job Shop environment is highly preferred

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Organized with attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use

  • Experience with production equipment and gauging

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)

  • Results-oriented and initiative-driven

  • Dependable and flexible


Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with production equipment and gauging

Physical Requirements
  • Occasional lifting/moving materials up to 50 lbs (15โ€“40% of the time)

  • Frequent mental and visual focus required
