Job description

Community Solutions is seeking a passionate Trainer & Quality Assurance Coach to join our MAP team located in San Bernardino, CA. This individual will be responsible for the development and implementation of training and curriculum for internal and external training initiatives. This individual will also conduct quality assurance tape review, strength-based and accurate coaching and feedback, written reports, informational meetings.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Essential functions include but are not limited to:
  • Create, prepare and conduct in-service training courses for all CSI training tracks, including orientation, basic and advanced courses.
  • Prepare and conduct quality assurance activities including tape review, strength based and accurate coaching/feedback sessions, research, informational meetings, written and statistical reports.
  • Work with customers and Registration Coordinator to set personal training schedule.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of and abide by the Agency's programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of quarterly training calendars, monthly reports, semi-annual reports and on-going databases.
  • Assist in researching and developing training curricula, quality assurance advances and resources to meet the needs of CSI's organizational and annual plan goals.
  • Attend meetings with funding sources as necessary.
  • Facilitate onsite training and on the job training to enhance program quality.
  • Assist in coordinating and selecting agency trainers to ensure the availability of trainers in areas of major priority for all regions.
  • Monitor and evaluate training courses, instructors and quality assurance material to ensure a high quality of service.
  • Maintain training database, training records, and quality assurance records for agency staff.
  • Organize and maintain a library of training and quality assurance materials.
  • Assist in marketing and selling CSI training and quality assurance to external customers and target trainings to prospective new customers.
  • Conduct innovative conference presentations on CSI training and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing RFP's for programs, training and quality assurance.

CSI is committed to systematically evaluating the integration of the trauma-informed values of safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration, and empowerment at all levels of the organization's policies, procedures, and structures to guard against the possibility of re-traumatization.

QUALIFICTIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in a social science/human resources/education field.
  • Three years of experience in the social services field.
  • Three years of technical experience with in-service training and/or evidence-based quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of adult education methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance techniques and skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
