Job description

Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday

Travel: 25% or less

Position Status: Hourly, $25 per hour

Scope of Service: Supports the Quality & Training Department in monitoring, reviewing, evaluating, and reporting quality measures across behavioral health programs to promote continuous quality improvement and effective service delivery. Collaborates with programs to ensure compliance with contractual, and accreditation standards through data collection, auditing, and performance review activities. Develops reports, tools, and helpful resources to support program growth and continuous improvement efforts. Provides support and training on documentation best practices to promote accuracy, compliance, and quality standards. Assists with chart and quality reviews, data auditing, staff orientation and training, and other quality improvement initiatives as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Complete accurate and timely data uploads to state and other designated reporting systems.
  • Export, compile, and distribute monthly and ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Maintain and monitor compliance records to support accurate and consistent reporting.
  • Conduct chart reviews, quality audits, and data validation activities, documenting findings accurately in assigned tracking tools.
  • Assist with departmental reviews, audits, accreditation preparation, and followup activities as needed.
  • Maintain, organize, and update department documents, forms, policies, and shared drive resources.
  • Provide occasional support for qualityrelated training initiatives.
  • Assist with monitoring corrective action items and tracking completion of required followup activities.
  • Maintain department spreadsheets, databases, and electronic tracking systems as assigned.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems and other databases to support quality improvement and reporting functions.
  • Communicate professionally and collegially with program staff regarding reporting requirements, missing documentation, and qualityrelated followup items.
  • Provide occasional front desk support coverage, when scheduled.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive client and agency information in accordance with HIPAA and agency standards.
