Job description

Quality Assistant Manager - About the role:

Responsible for working with and supporting the Quality Manager in managing all aspects of the Quality Department. Ensures that customer expectations are met by implementing and maintaining quality standards, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the progress of AMP/5D Panels and action plans from manufacturing plants.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed by all QREs.
  • Work with management to improve and/or provide feedback regarding quality control processes or procedures at manufacturing plants.
  • Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss quality issues and concerns with customers.
  • Serve as a liaison between management and other departments such as Engineering and Production Control.
  • Review data from daily logs, CCRs and AMP/5D to identify problems, trends or determine corrective actions.
  • Ensure Quality Lead is following procedures with the third parties or support teams.
  • Oversee containment activities performed at the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance or a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Supervisor experience required
  • Requires 25%-50% travel
  • Must have passport
  • Experience in Manufacturing/Automotive Plants
  • Experience with Wire Harnesses
  • BS/BA or professional certification
