Job Purpose
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the Core Software team, responsible for designing and developing the foundational software that powers our next-generation real-time vision systems. You will build high-performance, scalable, and maintainable software components that serve as the backbone of our products, while collaborating with application, AI, and hardware teams to maximize performance across heterogeneous computing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality core software components and libraries.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable modern C++ code with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Design software architectures that enable reusable, modular, and extensible solutions.
  • Analyze, profile, and optimize software for multicore CPUs and heterogeneous SoC platforms.
  • Collaborate with AI, vision, and embedded teams to integrate and optimize GPU-accelerated processing pipelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.
  • Lead technical initiatives and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Experience Required
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience developing applications in modern C++.
  • Proven experience developing applications on Linux.
  • Strong understanding of operating system concepts, multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous programming, and concurrent software design.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing reusable software frameworks, libraries, or middleware.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with GPU computing technologies such as CUDA or OpenCL.
  • Familiarity with ARM-based embedded Linux platforms (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm, NXP, or similar).
  • Familiarity with modern AI-assisted software development tools and best practices.

Pay Transparency
The annual salary for this role is $106,725 - $163,645 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
