QMA Weekend positions refer to Qualified Medication Aide roles that are specifically scheduled for weekend shifts in healthcare facilities, such as nursing homes or assisted living centers. QMAs are certified professionals responsible for administering medications to residents under the supervision of nursing staff. Working weekends often involves part-time, full-time, or PRN (as-needed) shifts, and may offer higher pay rates due to increased demand. QMAs must maintain proper certification and adhere to state regulations regarding medication administration. Weekend roles are ideal for those seeking flexible schedules or additional income.
