Salary: $120000/Annum+ Vehicle Stipend ($500/Month) + Lodging + benefits


Job Summary:

Seeking a Dual Hat Quality Control Manager (QCM)/Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for a year-long federal construction project at Berlin Lake Dam, OH, starting September/October. Candidates must have a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture and experience managing both quality control and site safety on construction projects.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all project quality control and site safety activities in compliance with contract requirements, EM 385-1-1, and OSHA regulations.
  • Develop and manage the Quality Control Plan (QCP), Accident Prevention Plan (APP), and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
  • Conduct daily inspections, safety audits, preparatory, initial, and follow-up QC inspections, and maintain project documentation.
  • Coordinate with the Owner, USACE, subcontractors, and project team to ensure quality workmanship and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate incidents, track corrective actions, lead safety meetings, and ensure successful project delivery while maintaining a safe work environment.
