Job description

Develop written procedures for quality control/quality assurance Supervise construction works contracts including quantity measurement, quality, variation and payments. Ensure that contractors comply with works' specifications. Develop standard quality control procedures to be performed by the contractors.

Define a procedure for using the cost norms to establish the cost of rehabilitation and maintaining the construction task. Supervision of the contractors in the implementation of the work. Review the existing standard documentation for the Operations Centre and propose any improvements deemed necessary.

Ensure that quality control plans as per contractors/clients expectation are followed religiously, especially in cases of onshore oil drilling works. They identify problems, pose plausible solutions and implement those solutions to achieve objectives of the project. They plan and coordinate quality control activities and conduct sessions to explain to workers the importance of following national/international quality norms/rule/regulations.

They supervise working of quality service providers and inspectors. Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Chief Technical Advisor/Project Manager.
