Job Summary:

As a QA (Quality Assurance) Intern at Centrus Energy, you'll gain hands-on exposure to the processes and standards that ensure project deliverables meet rigorous quality and regulatory requirements. Working alongside experienced QA professionals and project teams, you'll see how inspection, testing, and documentation contribute to the reliability and safety of advanced uranium enrichment and facility operations. This internship provides a unique opportunity to understand the full lifecycle of quality management in major capital projects while building technical and professional skills that will accelerate your career in quality assurance.

What You Will Do:

Step into the world of quality assurance and help support the quality control efforts behind critical plant initiatives. As a QA Intern, you'll assist QA engineers and managers with reviewing inspection reports, tracking compliance with industry standards, supporting quality documentation, and coordinating with engineering and construction teams. You may help analyze test data, review procedures and specifications, assist with audit reporting, and participate in quality, safety, and project coordination meetings. Along the way, you'll learn how quality standards are maintained throughout project execution and operations. At the end of the summer, you'll present your key contributions and lessons learned to the team.

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or graduate program in business, quality assurance, construction management, or a related field
  • Interest in quality assurance, projects, construction, or industrial facility operations

Pay:

Estimated Starting Base Salary Range: $23-$25/hr. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test and vetting to ensure Centrus Energy can meet the requirements of 10 CFR Parts 810 and 1017 to grant access to export-controlled information and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information, respectively.ย  Such access is required for the performance of this position.
